Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment where children can explore, investigate and build friendships with their peers. We have a dedicated team of experienced Early Years Practitioners who are passionate in encouraging children to fulfil their potential in becoming confident and independent individuals.
Open 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday 7.30 am - 6.00 pm
To help your child feel less apprehensive about being left, we arrange a settling in period with you. The experience prepares you for the first occasion you leave your child with us. All children have a designated key worker who is responsible for your child’s development records, planning and keeping parents informed of their child’s progress and well-being.
Our onsite cook, Angie, prepares freshly cooked meals for all children that attend the nursery. She works with parents to ensure all needs are catered for, including allergies and special diets. Healthy drinks and snacks are provided throughout the day.
We are pleased to confirm that we were judged as 'GOOD' with an area of 'Outstanding' for personal development, behaviour and wellbeing.
"The managers, and many of the staff, are very experienced practitioners who work as a highly effective team. Over the years, they have constantly evaluated and improved the combined settings to raise the standards of care and learning for children in the community". Ofsted November 2022
We believe learning through play is key and offer a wide range of activities following children’s interests and sparking their curiosity and language development using natural and real resources with open ended opportunities.

SNOW DAYS/EXTREME WEATHER
Please check the website in the event of extreme weather to see if we are able to open.
Snow days will still be charged at the normal rate. This is due to our running costs and overheads still having to be paid. However, where possible during the period of the time that your child is at our setting, we will always try to offer additional sessions to compensate for the missed sessions. These sessions will be given when available. Please refer to the payment policy for more information.
PARENT/GRANDPARENT VOLUNTEERS
We are always in need of an extra pair of hands! If you or you know of someone that is willing to give up a few hours a week, then we'd love to hear from you. Some of the activities we need help with are:
Gardening
DIY and decorating
Looking after on site animals
Having fun with the children!
For more information, please speak to a member of staff. Please note all volunteers will be subject to employment checks and DBS.
PARENTS/CARERS - Please be aware of our payment policy that all parents/carers must adhere to when attending one of our childcare settings.
Visit our Facebook site to see what we have been up to.
