Revision Materials

We look at our own beliefs, our society’s ideals and the beliefs of other societies in the hope that this will encourage greater understanding and tolerance.

Years 7 & 8

In Year 7 and 8 all students have one hour per week teaching time. We explore concepts/ideas such as community, how we decide a thing is true, justice, rules and then place them in a context/situation such as the life of Gandhi to see how the idea can be applied.

Year 9

In Year 9 the students explore the concepts of relationships and the religious beliefs surrounding this topic.  Students will look at the topic of crime and punishment, especially the aims of punishment.
